Hi Steve, my dad had a rcbs rock chucker and everything that went with it. The manuals I have are speer and from the early sixties. Your right, it is an addiction.

My bearcat has to be half-cock to load. My .44 magnum super blackhawk and my .30 carbine blackhawk can be loaded by opening the loading gate. there is no half-cock for these.

I really like the look and feel of the bear cat. I saw the .22/10, and really like that one. It does look alot bigger than the bear cat. But all three that I have feel good. Alot better than a ACP.

There are a few places that offer training where my girlfriend and I will be taking in the next few weeks. Not sure what I would need a permit for. Would that be a permit to carry a fire arm?

No, I have never shot them before. But when I was cleaning them, safety was always practiced and always treat it as if it were loaded!
