Re: Reloading for Glock 17 and Springfield XDM

A properly assembled reload is just as safe as any factory round, and this would include its use in a Glock 9mm or XDM.

Re: Reloding Nickle Covered Brass

I have reloaded thousands of rounds using nickel without difficulty. I have reloaded the same cases over and over; no problem. 45ACP, 38special, 357mag.

Re: what the difference between .45 and .454 casull?

I was pretty sure they would design the chambers such that the Casull would not chamber unless the gun was designed to take it.

Re: Powder/Primer shelf life????

Unless it was stored in really poor conditions, it lasts just about forever. A friend gave me a pound of Bullseye with a price tag for $1.95. Now that is old. I have use it all. Worked fine. ...

Just remember a recipe without an OAL is meaningless.

Re: Does new primed brass need to be resized?

Re: Need Load Data for .45 using Berry's 230 plated bullets

Remember that recipes without OAL are meaningless. OAL determines pressure just a surely as bullet and powder weight.

Re: Can this be done safely?

I had the same question. I spoke to Federal Co. tech dept regarding mag primers in regular applications. They said pressures would not be increased, but did not recommend it as the cups are harder...

Re: Cannelure Question

Regarding safety and pressure, never go shorter without starting at min charge and working up. The OAL is a min not a max. It is always safe to load longer. As OAL is shortened, pressure is always...

Re: .9mm reloading question

Make sure you taper crimp and not roll crimp. Your crimp should only remove any belling, not much more. I would not crimp the mouth more than about 0.377". Anything under 0.380 meets spec.

Re: digital scale

I have three quality scales that agree on measurements. I then came into possession of one those Chinese cheapies. It was off by a significant amount.

Re: Are We All Progressives Now? The Real Issue

My politics are most defiantly not progressive but my reloading presses are. Dillon Square deal and a Dillon 550B.

Re: almost out of powder

I use Unique, Titegroup, Universal and others with great results. As mentioned by RegularJoe, I too like to use a powder that fills the case at least halfway to guard against a double charge. ...

Among any other problems there may be, when you refer to manually extracting a cartridge and having the bullet remained lodged in the barrel with the brass coming free, it sounds as if the bullet...

I have looked at their scopes at retailers and gunshows. I believe they are made in China. Their bodies are very thick and scopes are very large and heavy for their specifications. I don't know...
