i'd suggest check your crimp. if you dont have enough crimp and the bullets are being set back during cycling it could cause weird things to happen, not counting the spike in pressure.

yeah. 30 carbine is a pistol round too. i know bottleneck pistol rounds like 357 sig or 221 fireball need lube. but i dont know bout the big rifle rounds. i can see it needing some to smooth it...

i am not very up to date on the subject but im thinking that the c&r will only eliminate the ffl fees. they dont charge tax out of state and you'll still pay shipping with a license.
