Re: The Worst Long-Gun You've Bought?
I have had 2 both Weatherbys. The first was a Vanguard in 22-250. Scattered the shots all over. Nothing that looked like a group. Took it back to the dealer. He shot every brand of ammo he had in it...

Re: Bought a Brick of 22LR
Looks like i haven't bought any 22 ammo in a while. I have 2 bricks of Winchester Super X. Both marked $13.99. Have a brick of Federal Lightnings. Can't find a price on it but think it was $11.99.

Re: 204 Ruger
I thought i had the latest Sierra manual but maybe not. The 204 isn't listed. Looks like IMR 4895 and Win.748 are the powders to start with. I have used IMR 3031 in 222, 222mag. 223, 225 and 22-250....

Re: Sterling Model 400
Sterling Arms rented half of the building that i worked in. Only one of the 4 local dealers would sell them. Think the price then in the early 80's was $49.95.
I did own a Sterling X-Caliber in...

Re: What was the first .22 you actually owned?
My first 22 was a Winchester 69. Bought in 1960 or 61. Think i paid $54 for it with a 4 power Weaver scope. In the 60's that rifle went every where with me. Still have it. I also have my fathers old...
