2400 question 357mag

Alliant Powder lists 14.9 grains of powder for a 158 grain jacketed bullet, for .357 mag.
This really fills the case, almost to a compressed charge.
Is this correct?
Loaded one with 11 grains,...

Is a brass cartridge with a nickle plated primer?
If so, you may have a slight bit of electrolysis buildup from the dissimilar metals.
If it is brass on brass might be a small amount of bullet lube...

I prefer use Winchester AA or Remington Premier or STS hulls.
By loading light loads I have had up to 10 reloads out of a hull before they split or crack.
And yes make sure they haven't been wet....
