I have been wanting to purchase a 50 Cal bolt action rifle for some time and I think that's where the tax refund is gonna go! I can't afford a Barrett, does anyone have any suggestions on a model...

Is there any way of telling the year of my Springfield Trapdoor? Can"t make out the writing on block and no cartouche marks that I can see!

I think that's the best course of action, and besides it adds charachter and I have no intentions of ever selling it! It will go to my son and hopefully his son!
