grip bushing tap

does anyone know where i can get a standard grip bushing tap....have checked brownells but only saw the oversized one. i need the standard

there is a guy with a name like reddogalaskan or something similar.....his exploits are posted on many forums. he is a master at implying something and letting you think you are getting something...

i have a cdefs thats a couple or 3 years old....i recently got a springer mil-spec.
maybe i had good luck but every part that i switched from one to the other functioned...thats barrel,slide stops...

you can also tune the extractor by re-shaping it a bit...this worked on a llama i have....somewhere there is a drawing on the net of precisely how to do it...as i recall i removed a tiny tin bit on...

has anyone tried plating the rails of a 1911 to take out the slop say like nickle or chrome?
i know that the rails can be peened or the slide squeezed....but i would like to find a "less radical"...

i believe the alpha prefix indicates that it is a fairly new gun.....might want to consider smudging the serial number.....its a nice gun...agree sort of semi-loaded

just a PS here....might be a good idea to smudge the serial number on your weapon. i dont know of any instances myself but i have heard it said that unsavory charactors use the serial numbers to post...

my cousin who is in his sixties told me that when he was a kid, a friend of his had a side by side, rabbit eared .410 shotgun. he told me he thought that it was so neat and that he always wanted one....
