Re: Good 9mm

I've got three nines, Taurus PT908, favorite of the bunch. Feels and shoots great, DA/SA. Kahr PM9, conceal carry, shoots very well for a compact, grips are small but fine with finger extension, LDA....

Re: Opinions - Taurus Millennium PT 111/140/145 Series

I have the Pro PT111, Taurus makes one of the best products in their price range. It was my primary carry. I generally carry IWB and its a bit chunky for comfort. Now that I have the Kahr PM9 it is a...

WHY YOUR 1911 AUTO PISTOL
WON'T WORK!!
by Duane Thomas
(Handguns Magazine / November 1994)
Probably the most commonly heard complaints about the 1911 .45 auto are, "It doesn't work out of the...

Re: Plastic vs 1911

It seems that the original post has been taken out of its context. Plastic, covers all handguns with a polymer frame. Sort of a way to give a advantage over the 1911 with more votes. :p Like...

No animosity intended here at anyone, all in good clean, well maybe not all clean ;), fun. I'm no gun fanatic by any means. Just like to shoot, rag on brothers whether it be guns, bikes, or their...

Re: Plastic vs 1911

Dear Plano sir, I appreciate the time and trouble you invested to educate me on the 1911 and Glock. To be honest I just skimmed over it. The issue here is not whether one is better than the other. :p...

Re: just for fun......if you had to pick a .380 what would it be?

NAA Guardian 380, all steel, I like a little weight on my girls. :D Sights are minimal but accurate. Finger extension on the clip makes for a nice fit. Recoil is managable. Trigger is worse than the...

Re: Pocket Pistol?

If you can comfortably and with confidence handle the P3AT it serves it purpose. For me the small grip and longgggggg trigger pull makes it unpleasant. Lucky there are other options. In the heat of...

Re: Pocket Pistol?

I was in the market for the P3AT, until I shot one. So light recoil is sharp, with the small grip. If that don't bother you, would be perfect. I have the Taurus PT111 9mm, similar in size to the .45,...

Made it to the range today and fired off the jammed round. Ejected fine, the case had a nice crease down the side. Most certainly o/s, also had a misfire with the same ammo, no more reloads for CCW....

I think the round in the chamber is hanging up. The gun shop says to fire it off. I've had this ammo for sometime, looks like reloads.

All points taken, but, do you not feel the weapon is in a more vulnerable
position for some (lack of better word) perp, to attack from behind? The
key here being "more vulnerable".

uses a behind the back holster. My first question to him was what if
someone notices and wants it. Seems to be more vulnerable from behind.

Taurus PT 908

Hello all, I am new here and this is my first post. I bought a PT 908 some

seem to be misengraved, like double stamped....
