In my experience, lighter is always better. When you fire a gun in "action" (not practice, but real stress) you will not notice ANY recoil. You are much more likely to carry a 15oz gun than a 24oz...

10 months of the year it's a Rossi 38 snubnose in an IWB holster with gold dots, and 2 biachi speed strips.

The other 2 months, it's a S&W9F 9mm with a 17 rd mag in a shoulder holster and a 2 mag...

I carry a Rossi model 351 .38 Special snubbie with Gold Dot 135gr. +P

Any bullet that mushrooms consistently from my snub gets my vote (and Dollar)!!

They are also very accurate. I get 8"...
