Between the gusts that were blowing clouds of dust & grit; I managed to @ least sight in. No real chance to do...

I have one of the WWII 'rebuilds' done @ Aniston Arsenel.
After WWI, the funding was stopped for repair / refurbishing. Guns needing repair were simply coated w/ preservative and stored.

I just received this on Friday, a most unusual & rare rifle. proof marks show it has been in the UK prior to being imported to the US.
Does anyone have one of these also?

I have a 504-T HB .17 HMR, The T guns (.17 HMR or .22 LR) came w/ heavy Shilen barrels and laminated stocks. They are extremely accurate. mine wins me lots of $$ :cool:

And yes, I have a very clean 40X (CMP, 700 Type) another tack-driver!

Winchester 52 here's a 5 shot, 50 yard group. I failed to notice the tails drop on my flag for the last shot. 4 shots in a Zero group...the wind, the wind!

replace the pads every couple of hundred rounds, or whenever they look ragged. They are cheap enough, keep a couple of packages in your range bag.

Rifle is mid-60's production, CMP rifle, hense the dark, oil finish.
I'm advised the Unertl 24X is a very late 40's or very early 50's production.
