Re: What do you carry and why ?

I have many to choose from, but the two I carry most would be my Glock 19 and my Taurus 85UL .38 snub. Both small enough, light enough, and very convenient to conceal.

Re: Why did the Military go from the reliable M14 to the M16?

I always wondered that......never liked the 16. Not that I had to carry one all the time as a Coastie.....but if a M14 was available....that is what I grabbed.

Re: Did anyone in your squad choose the AK-47 over the M-16?

My ship was in the Gulf of Tonkin, and when I was up on deck I always grabbed an M14.....our armory had both m16 and m14....I always chose the "wood stock."
