Re: If you could only have one .22 LR

Well now... I currently have a .17HMR, a .17HM2 and 18 .22 rifles, and I am extremely attached to each every one of them for some reason or other. But, the one I would keep if I was forced (never...

Re: What was the first .22 you actually owned?

I never owned a .22 until two years ago when I was 53. It's a Winchester 69A that my mom gave me. I now have 18 .22 rifles, and in the last two years I've had about 30 go in and out my door. Talk...

Re: Whats your favorite .22 rifle old or new

Just recently picked up this old jewel. It's a Mossberg 46. I haven't even shot the damned thing yet, but it's already my favorite out of 20 rimfires.

Howdy all,

Been a while since I've been on the board. But now I'm back in the saddle again. Just picked up a Mossberg 46 that needs a little bit of work. This old jewel has a nearly flawless...

Re: Mossberg 22 #46

I'm curious as to why my 46 has a full beavertail forestock, and every other one I've seen only has the partial beavertail. Duh, adding the pic was simple. I just forgot how.

Re: Some Americans have a short memory...

I especially like the quote of Thomas Paine.

But the last one by Thomas Jefferson is the best.

I have an AR-7 myself. Interesting piece. Anyway, not being too awfully fond of the plastic floater stock, I thought I would try to find something more substantial, maybe something more "tactical"....

It's virtually a form of revisionist's history when they don't teach the kids that if we hadn't been armed we would have been ****ed. An omission is as bad, if not worse, than an outright lie. We...

Re: Need info on 4 old bolt guns.....

Here's mine. The "53-B" on mine is right in front of the dovetail for the rear sight, right on top of the barrel.

That's some pretty decent shootin' with that old beast.

Good question...

Hopefully at least a couple of them will agree with each other in regards to a particular make and model. If at least one of them has what a guy is looking for it's a good place to start.
