Re: 9mm vs 38acp
If I was looking you in the eye I would have said the same thing. The title of the thread is 38 acp vs 9mm. Anyone that read what each of us quoted would think you are talking about a 38 acp. Just...

I have a Schrade sharp finger that I have had for years. It's a great knife and you won't go wrong buying one.
The knife I am carrying this year is a Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife. It's very...

Re: 9mm vs 38acp
Errmmm, dude none of those manufacturers make a 38 ACP. So I have to raise the BS flag high. they do make a 38 special. The 38 acp is a frikin dinosaur. I doubt anyone manufacturers ammo for a 38...

Re: Rifle easier to find than .357
I just bought 120 rounds of brown bear 203 gr 7.62x54 ammo for less than .50 a round. Maybe the hole that all the milsurp ammo was in went dry. manufactured ammo sure isn't going up. I ordered a...

38 ACP? Come on! Tell us the truth. I could see 38 super because it fills a niche with reloaders but 38 acp?

Most people here are so apathetic it's not funny. The only reason they belong to the NRA is because you have to be a member to take part in most firearms related activities. As I stated earlier...

Here in NC it's legal to open carry but you can go to far and be charged with armed to the terror of the public. OC is legal but at the officers discretion it's not legal. We have a bunch of Jim...

Some courses are set up with longer shots than others. I would prefer to shoot every course with #9 shot and an improved cylinder. The beauty of sporting clays is the ammo choke combo that works...

Re: 9mm vs 38acp
If one is having recoil problems with a 38 spl they need another grip or the gun just doesn't fit them. I don't even shoot 38 spl ammo in my 357mag pistols. I have 9mm pistols that fill the same...

Re: How Lethal Is A .22 ???
Plenty of armies use the 22 LR for training purposes, including Canada. No, it's not the weapon of choice for combat or self defense. The 5.56 isn't either. When I enlisted I was used to shooting...

Re: Rifle easier to find than .357
I don't think we are going to have another ammo shortage. Retailers love panic buying. In 2008 and 2009 we had 2 wars going on and George Bush gave the military plenty of funding on his way out. ...

I would have more than one weapon. I would grab my Ruger P95 and Hi Point carbine. 2 boxes of 9mm ammo and I am ready to go.

I would have a hard time taking an $1,800 shotgun duck hunting. Most guns that go duck hunting a lot end up battle scarred and rough looking.
