Slugging a bore is easy. Just cast a soft bullet, and beat it through your barrel using a wooden dowel. Measure the diameter, then size .001-.002 larger.

Yes, there is something important, related to .30-30.

Most rifles chambered for .30-30 have quite a bit of head space. This causes the brass to be stretched each time it is fired, near the base....

I just got done casting 50 lbs of 158 gr LSWC's in .358 This batch is dead soft lead, intended for .38 spl at about 780 fps. No leading.
