Re: New Agent ?
I would reccommed the New Agent in a 9mm. I fired 100 .45 rounds through my New Agent and it is rough on the hands. I really like the gun, but kind of wish I had bought a 9mm. I don't mind shooting...

Out of work daughter moving back in, all gun buying suspended. Still can reload, maybe a little range time now and then. She has a wedding planned in a few months, so my prison sentence has a time...

Re: 1911 on full cock?
I have decide to carry my Beretta PX4 subcompact .40. It has a hammer and can be carried cocked and locked, and it is double action. I carry it on half cock (using the decocking lever) and safety...

Re: 1911 on full cock?
I agree, cocked and locked. But I carry with a round in the chamber and hammer down. I figure I can cock the hammer almost as fast as I can flip the safety off. In fact I have fumbled with the safety...

Re: Wood pellets for tumbling
I have trouble when I tumble 2 calibers (pistol) with the smaller caliber jamming in the larger. Not a big deal but some don't get very clean that way.
I bought a large amount of walnut and corn cob...

Re: Print Your Own Targets .......
I was next to a lady once at the shooting range and all she had was large white paper that had circles hand drawn on them. Here I was with my expensive targets. The best I do is cover holes with some...

Looks like a keeper. It's a Sig, if it doesn't shoot well it's broken!

Re: favorite itty bitty gun?
My new Sig P238 .380 is nice, but my S&W 360 .38/357 5 shot revolver is amazingly accurate. The Sig is easier to shoot, the S&W trys to take off your fingers.

Re: ACCURATE POWDER?
My understanding is that Bullseye is kind of a "beginners" powder? At least thats what I was told when I reloaded 27 years ago for the first time. So when I started again after so long that I had to...

Re: Beretta Cheetah 84 .380
Thanks for the information. This clears some things up. Think I will go back to all JHP in the .380, and I definitely need to get back to the range and fire a few hundred more rounds through it. It...

Re: Beretta Cheetah 84 .380
I have heard very mixed ideas on what to load the .380 for carry. Many say a hollow point isn't going fast enough to work properly, then they say use a FMJ instead, but it could bounce off. So I...

Re: Beretta Cheetah 84 .380

Re: Beretta Cheetah 84 .380
I really appreciate the information. My daughter thinks at $450. we should maybe hold onto it a little longer. I told her there is no guarantee that time will increase the value by much.
May take...

Re: should I?: Ruger SP101
The SP101 shoots the .38 Special really well, but I had a hard time with the .357. The recoil pushes the gun straight back smacking my trigger finger so I had to wrap the finger around the trigger...

Re: Best subcompact auto
I really like my Firestorm 9mm. Yes it is heavy, 26.5 oz. 31 oz. loaded, but as far as dependable and a good shooter I think its great for a $300 weapon. It does get on the heavy side when I carry...
