No need to remove the breech plug at the range(till you forget the powder:D) just wet patch the bore and follow with a dry one. Warning-Muzzleloaders are an addiction. Hope there isn't any cure!

There is no such thing as a free puppy. Food-dogbox/kennel-vet bills-all your stuff that gets chewed up. But still there is nothing as cute as a puppy no matter what the pedigree(or lack thereof).:)

Got hammered by flash floods in '98 and '04. Have bad dreams about floods at least a couple times a month. Moved a year ago(high and dry now)but the visions keep returning.
