Re: Ruger Mark III or S&W 22A?

Are there different versions of the 22A? The one I saw was all black and sold for around a hundred dollars.

It looked cheap to me. Maybe I'm thinking of another model but it was a S&W.

Re: Ruger Mark III or S&W 22A?

I don't usually like to knock other gun brands but I did look at the S&W 22A after a friend of mine told me what a great gun he thought it was.

Looking over the 22A it appeared to be made out of...

Re: How about some rare or unusual .22 rifles

This is the closest thing I have to a rare .22.

It's a Winchester model-490 semi-automatic made in Canada.

Re: Bloombergs TV Add

It bothers me when he makes statements like 95% of NRA members agree with him.

There are a lot of brainwashed people who vote for liberal causes and believe everything this guy says.

If all else fails Obama will just use his "Magic" pen to sign an executive order.

I'll be 74 in July and just hope I will get to see America become America again.

Obama is already well on his way to destroying the 2nd Amendment.

I'm sure O'bama (now he's Irish) has people working on making it legal for illegal Mexicans to get the right to vote so he can make Arizona stop fighting him.

It's simple, just buy both so you can compare.

Then you will discover you like them both.

I enjoy shooting .22's of every type.

Re: How Lethal Is A .22 ???

.22 is my favorite caliber. I have larger guns such as 9mm and 40 but if all I had was a .22 I would go with the one I can depend on.

That would be a Ruger MK-11 or a Single-Six.

Uberti "Silverboy" .22 lever action.

Noticed a Uberti ad in the latest Shooting magazine and wondered how it will match up with a Henry "Goldenboy" for price and operation.

Nice rifle.

I have a Winchester 9422 but would also like to have a Marlin Mountie, Henry and a Browning BLR.

Levers are fun to shoot and they all work fine.
