I never buy chinese tools if they will be stressed (normal use.) Their files work ok for soft metals. Their diamond tip rotary tools are so much cheaper than good ones that it is cost effective to...

I like to use a little rifle grease on slides and other mating surfaces if I can get to them with a toothpick. I don't fire my guns often, nor in cold weather. Is there a problem with this practice?

I'm trying to clean up a filthy sportsman '48. I'd like to remove the bolt but can't figure it out. Do I remove the operating handle, and if so, how?
