Re: Sringfield XD? For 1911 Shooters
Hydra,

Sringfield XD? For 1911 Shooters
Went to the range today and tried a Springfield XD40. This is a full size model with tac light rail. Was very impessed with it, accuracy, light recoil.
I know it's a sin to have a gun that's not a...

Reloadin' for my 45!!!
Hey Guys,
Been shooting quite a bit lately. Have found that I like 185 grain ammo much better for target/indoor range. It seems as if you can either go with the 230 grain or the 185. It's hard...

Re: Please help me decide...
BigZig,

2nd, nobody will make fun of you for spending too much on a 1911.

Re: How often do you clean your 1911?
My 1911 is cleaned and inspected after each session at the range. The weapon is dirty after each session so it should be cleaned. This also gives me a chance to inspect all the major parts of the...

Re: Civilian/Semi-auto MP5
Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll just stick with an AR-15 style weapon.
No way I'm wastin' all that money on a foriegn made knock off. HK seems to have their stuff together. If the had...

Re: First Pistol?
dvl, The 22 or 17 conversion cost is $300.00. You say you can't get a kimber or springfield approved in your state? It sound as if your living in canada, my friend just told me they outlaw...

Re: First Pistol?
dvl, sorry for the smart a** remark. Just trying to encourage you. But seriously if you can get a Springfield or Kimber in your State/town I would go with one of those and a 22 conversion kit. ...

Re: First Pistol?
dvl, I am a new 1911 shooter myself. If you like the feel and style of the 1911 then go for it! Of course small caliber automatic pistols will be easier to shoot. As will a lesser caliber...

Civilian/Semi-auto MP5
Am also interested in a HK MP5 SMG. With the MP5's popularity, why is it so hard to find a semi-auto? Does an SMG need to have a minimum legal barrel length? Anyone know how you can get one of...

Re: Proud New Kimber Owner!!!
Accuracy with my Glock was about the same. But then I never truly practiced hard with that gun. More of just a toy. I would like to master my 1911 and perhaps shoot a match with it, in time.

Re: Proud New Kimber Owner!!! Update:
Thanks for the responses. Went to the range again and shot another 250 rounds. Not one problem. At 25 feet I'm able to do five shot groups between 3 and four inches. Is this good?

Re: Proud New Kimber Owner!!!
Country 101,
My TLE II cost me 789.99 + tax. I bought it at Mega Sports in Plainfield, IL.
For under eight bills I think it's a great buy. Although I didn't really price shop. The Custom TLE II...

Proud New Kimber Owner!!!
