S&W introduced the 22cal rim fire in the late 1850s. That is why Colt was held up on making metallic firing pistols until the mid 1800s. They could not brake S&W's patent infringement.

Here in the US one was manufactured called Hero. Made just as yours. Most were 36cal, but saw one chambered in 44cal also. 175 was the asking price for them 10 years ago.

Jim, several points to remember & that is from 1908 onward to around 1912 or later, these Lugers had no hold open and stock lug.
Also in this older thread you mentioned that in 1920,the 9mm barrels...

Your pistol was manufactured in 1935. With out closer pics it will be hard to give you a price, however lets say 90% for a ball park & the holster has the maker's mark, well then 800 dollars...
