Re-chambering of rounds
Hello Group,
I was wondering what you guys know/think about re-chambering rounds after cleaning ect.
I have done it for years and just recently read that it is very dangerous due to "set back"....

Yes I use Federal 230 grain hydro-shok +p jhp's
230 grain is (I believe) the absolute most common grain for .45acp
As stated above, almost any manufacturer makes 230 grain jhp.

I'm not concerned with reliability, mine is flawless with 10k rounds. I'm asking about the velocity loss causing expansion issues.

I know this isn't the ?, but for carry I find a rubber grip to be better than wood as I wear iwb. Rubber rubs me better.
Wood grips look nice, but feel not so nice:)

I have a Kimber Ultra cdp 2. It has been flawless until last weekend. I had non stop ftf. I clearly had over oiled it, would this cause that much of a problem?

Kimber recommends what shooter said. I have put 1600 on it, and it is shooting just fine, but I am changing it anyway.

It has been flawlesssince 200 rounds. I only had 1 FTF during the 1st 200 rounds. Kimber recommends 500 rounds...

I love my Kimber Ultra CDP2.
Some say Kimbers are pricey, but I think it has been well worth it.
I changed to rubber grips, as I carry IWB, but that's all.
