After a closer look, the one that has flats does have a weak 6.5, the other, without flats, has nothing marked in front of the rear sight. Year is stamped on barrel, 1944.

yes, lubing with the correct lube, and the 7x57 die works fine in the same press. The 308 die stuck so bad that the case ripped out of the shell plate. Had to remove the die, hammer the pin and brass...

I did put a thin coat of lube, but it seems like it needs to go too far into the die to actually knock the old primer out. I'm thinking the decap pin is not adjusted right. It came from Lee already...
