Pardner, you need something like this..a World band (multi bands)
receiver with hand crank and charge battery...crank a bit..listen for a
long time...then crank some more..can also be charged...

Have you tried sighting at closer standard distance...from 100 to 50yd..
or if your at 50, go to 100....? Some problem will still show, but...

TOP of pistol, that long flat arm that comes from trigger to hammer...

No Rocketman....the little pig tail is removed...."some" say it is a direct
result of the S&W Glock settlement (from S&W obviously copying so
much of a Glock, and that it wasnt there on very first...

Well pardner, the device per link you referenced does indeed appear to
be weapon or tripod mount, and specs say it has "visible" laser AND
also offers "IR" paint/laser and IR illumination for same....

done well "for me" anyway..
I will also add that if what I have read on S&W and elsewhere is correct, S&W has
sold per renewed...

weapon such as lessening trigger pull to a dangerous level as some springs
