Re: trailboss for 'normal' use?

I don't think it would hurt a Garand, but it seems pretty dirty to me, might have some tough cleaning to do of gas op systems. I does make pretty good cat sneeze loads in 22 hornet and 223, but my...

Re: 7.62x39 for deer?

Probably something like that. The old Browing A-5 had a dowl that looked like a big nail so it could not come out. If I remember right they were numbered the same as the shotgun.

Re: 7.62x39 for deer?

7.62x39 soft points work well on deer and pigs. FMJs not only not very good but also illegal.

Re: remington 760 gamemaster

Re: Thought I won the walmart ammo lottery . . and then

About the only loaded ammo I buy is the rim fires. Buy a box or two whenever I am at Wallyworld and they have it and I am there(maybe 3 times a year) but that is enough to keep my stock up.

Re: Why no .41 mag semi-auto?

I dunno about 18, in my family alone there are 3 41 mag owners. Part of the reson the 41 didn't become more widespread is very few comercial loading were ever offered, unlike the 357 and 44.

Re: But, seein as this here's a 44 Magnum...

Cast reloads cost me about 12 cents apiece, jacketed about 30. About the same as it cost me to reload 44. Shoots flater than a 44, kills pigs just about as well.
