I just don't understand a meat processor not adding spices to sausage... You didn't ask for ground venison.
Perhaps he simply made a mistake, but I don't think I'd be using that guy in the future...

Burn the purists!
You can also omit tomatos, garlic, onion and anything but meat and peppers.
Personally I like FLAVOR with my meat and peppers and that includes beans... Lots of beans... :)

The .17 HMR is a great varmint cartridge... Like you say though, it tends to shread small game like squirrel, but deadly and accurate medicine for coyote, groundhog etc...
