My first try...

I was using the tables in the Lee book and the Nosler book for loading a 7mm rem mag. The Lee book has the starting load for a 140 grain jacketed bullet with IMR4350 as 53 grains with a max of 59...

Re: Good ebay deal on Lyman 1200 DPS

It took about 14 seconds to measure 45 grains of IMR 4350. I think that is with the flow restrictor though.

Re: New to reloading

I figure I spent a lot on the Lyman scale and dispenser. So I ordered a cheap press to get started. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=480380

It was only $32 with a manual. So...

Re: New to reloading

I don't think I need to worry about that. I don't know anyone yet who reloads. But I will definitely read through the manuals and have a good understanding before I get started.

Re: New to reloading

Thanks for the info. That's some great stuff to think about. I will probably only reload a few hundred rounds a year. So I guess the single stage press would be sufficient.
What about the other...
