I'm using 140 gr Nosler ballistic tip bullets with IMR 4350 powder and large rifle primers right now. I made 20 of them with 60 gr. of powder and I'm trying to get about 3100 fps.

Thanks for following up on my question Woolley. The Nosler book has a max load of 66 grains. I also bought a Lyman manual. So between the three books, I decided to start with 60 grains. We'll see...

I understand I need to begin with the starting load. I was just confused because the nosler book's starting load is 61 grains while the Lee book Max load is 59 grains.

I was using the tables in the Lee book and the Nosler book for loading a 7mm rem mag. The Lee book has the starting load for a 140 grain jacketed bullet with IMR4350 as 53 grains with a max of 59...

It took about 14 seconds to measure 45 grains of IMR 4350. I think that is with the flow restrictor though.

I don't think I need to worry about that. I don't know anyone yet who reloads. But I will definitely read through the manuals and have a good understanding before I get started.
