I plan on going to jump school and sniper school, but both of those are up to my unit. I also think I'm going to try and get secondary MOS training as a mechanic so I can help work on our strikers...

I loved the M-4. During FTX I wasn't carrying the M-4, I had the M249 SAW. Fun to shoot, not so fun to run 2 miles, carry a 150 pound litter another mile, then ruck another 12 miles with.

I got to shoot one of these not to long ago. While it is a nice gun it didn't seem very well built to me, the slide rattled a lot when I held it. Other then that it was a fantastic shooter.
