I'm a big fan of revolvers. I prefer them over semi-autos and there's nothing anyone can do to change my mind.

If I were you I would try out one of the newer S&W Model 617 10-shot .22 revolvers...

I was also surprised, I was a little nervous at first due to the extremely low price of the gun. But once I started shooting it, I realized I was wrong to be so nervous (500 rounds, no problems)....

I agree 100%. If it's for a bolt action than I would use the 30-06, if it is a semi-auto than I'd go with the 308, such as the M1A.
