I am having trouble with my tc pro hunter using blackhorn 209 and regular winchester 209 primers in cold weather. Im shooting 100 grains of powder. In warm weather it shoots like a dream. 3 shots...

If you buy a pro hunter with a .50 cal muzzleloader barrel on it is it not a break open muzzleloader? :confused::confused::confused: Sure looked like one when I watched Jim Shockey Sunday night.

This was my second. The first was a .22 mag 452 American. I never shot it much and it got a ding on the stock sittin in the safe so I traded it off. I've wanted another CZ ever since.

I just ordered a new CZ 452 Ultra Lux and my scope of choice is a Leupold VX-1 in a 3-9 X 40. With Leupold med rings will this scope clear the rear sight and bolt handle?

Got the comparator, put it on my calipers and checked my 6 remaining shells. With the calipers zeroed with the comparator on them they measure from 2.220 - 2.2215. Good enough or try harder?
