Re: M1-22

I wondered about the bayonet too. The safety popped out, at my prodding, because it seemed to be loose. That spring and the mag release are inter-related and I wound up cobbling it back together. I...

I just picked up a walnut stocked, M1-22 and can't wait to get to the range with it. Any suggestions? What brand of ammo is best? First impression is good, though I don't like the safety. Thoughts?

Took the Walker to the range

The walker preformed flawlessly. I still need to modify the front sight, it needs to be half again as tall as it came from the manufacture, but Kentucky windage works really well for the present. It...

Re: Bought a brick of American Eagle 22LRs...

I used to shoot 308 american eagle rounds and understood them to be a less expensive line of federal. If you want to avoid crappy ammo, the worst IMHO is remington.

Re: Took my golden boy 22lr to the range

I gotta agree. Raising the back sight raises the trajectory of the rifle. My .22 Henry shoots at the very bottom setting for twenty-five yards. Your's should be exactly the same way. the B

Re: Took my golden boy 22lr to the range
