Lots of people use walnut for real dirty brass as it is more abrasive than corncob. Corncob gives the brass a nice shine.

GD, this is the one tracer round I kept. I stuck it on the polish wheel and shined it up. Headstamp is 1944. The M1's I kept are in the tumbler.(corncob)

I thought my Bushmaster was an AR-10 but it is a LR 308. I heard somewhere that they were not the same but I dont know the differencs. This will be an interesting thread. Hope to learn something.
