I live in Henderson, NV. which is a suburb of Las Vegas. We are fairly high where we live, about 2500' above sea level. There is no way for me to put up a 100' antenna....

Thanks for your input. I had thought about the larger calibers, .308 & 30-06 for windy situations but reasoned myself back down to the 5.56/.223. You sure can carry a lot of that ammo vs others....
