thanks to those who responded...i found out today that it was a birdhead... is this common with this 922....and also the spring under the grips is not the coiled type and is like a bent straight...

i just picked up a h+r 922 with the serial number it looks like D4267 it has a 4inch barrel....does anyone have any infor on this pistol....the year ect... thanks
