Re: Tips on building a stock from scratch

If you go to www.rimfirecentral.com/forums and go to the 10/22 section, then to the 10/22 stock finishing and building section. There is a "sticky" up at the top of the page about building a complete...

Re: Sten gun reciever

From what I remember it was to build a semi auto sten. A lot of the machining that was done to the bolt was to add a firing pin as the kit's bolt didn't have a pin as it was machined into the bolt...

Re: Sten gun reciever

Shotgun News ran a multi part story on building a semi auto sten from a parts kit. Part 1 was in Volume 60, issue 9. I don't know what issues the other parts of the build were in but hopefully that...

Re: 7.92 X 57mm Berdan?

I'm a little confused by your description. Berdan primed brass has a "post" that stands up in the center of the primer pocket that the primer rests on. So how can it have a center hole? Are you sure...

Re: M-14 vrs. M-16

This is second hand from my son stationed in Tikrit but they will gladly take any M14 they can get their hands on. He has one advantage in that they are usually "mounted" running route clearance...

Can anyone tell me what the proper model/markings are for the WWII training rifles made by H&R? A coworker is trying to sell an H&R model 150 as a WWII training rifle and I seem to remember that this...

Re: H&R book/info

Bill,
Thanks for the reply. The caliber is stamped on the barrel. The pistol is in the 170,xxx range.

Best of luck on finishing up your book. I'll just have to patiently await it's publication.

H&R book/info

Hi,
I've recently become interested in the H&R pistols and am having a heck of a time finding much information on them.

Some earlier posts talk about a soon to be released book on these guns. Has...

Re: My New No.1 MkIII 2A....

Made it out to the range this afternoon with a co worker. He just finished cleaning up his 2A. There were no problems with Lake City or handloads but did have several pierced primers with South...

Re: My New No.1 MkIII 2A....

I'll be glad to post some pictures. For now they will just be of the ugly duckling with all of the black crap and grease on them. I can see three repairs through the gunk so I'm not expecting much...

Re: 1895 nagant revolver???

I have a CZ52 and like it a lot. The only complaint I have with it is the european style magazine release, the type at the bottom of the magazine. I'm a fan of the 1911 style magazine release. Other...

Re: My New No.1 MkIII 2A....

Thanks for the welcome, this looks like a great site. I picked up an Ishapore 2A in .308. It too is coated with the black finish. From what I can see before cleaning it up there are a couple of...
