I teach and was taught that you pull a weapon only in self-defense with your life or the life of another depending on it--and if you pull the weapon, you use it to kill! Who cares what the f--k it...

Sorry guys--but as a combat infantry and recon Marine who saw heavy combat in my two tours in Vietnam, plus combat in Beirut, the Gulf, Somalia--the M16A1, A2, A3 and A4 did the job it was designed...

Sorry--but the M16A1 that I carried in two tours of Vietnam did what it was supposed to do--kill and wound the guys I shot at.
The M16A3 and A4 were damn good weapons as is the carbine version...
