Re: LEE, LEE, LEE, LEE
I've got a little of this and that but Lee equipment let me get a start reloading. As a bonus I can load some very accurate rifle cartridges with my simple single stage press.
Whatever floats your...

Re: Trump 2012
Trump couldn't be worse than a career politician, IMO.
On an aside: We had to produce birth certs (real ones) in order for our boys to play peewee football, just say'in.

Re: Is Sig 1911 C3 both reliable & acuurate?
A little late to the party, sorry. I do have a C3 that I just installed new springs in just today, it was starting to not go into battery after every shot like it should. It's a great pistol but like...

Re: First 1911 suggestions
So many really nice 1911's to be had. Don't discount the Sig models I've got a C3 that is about as accurate as any 1911 I've ever shot.
Best wishes, 1911's rock!

Congrats.
I've got the same pistol with tritium night sights and Altamont walnut double diamond grips.
Simple controls, nothing too fancy, nice size for carry. Really like mine it's accurate and...

Re: Whitetail Hunters:
In the .308 it's Hornady 168 grain A-Max, super accurate in my Icon (it was what they used for the test target).
My .270 Weatherby Vanguard likes 130 grain Winchester Power Points, 130 grain...

Re: Deer Stand or The Ground
When I was younger and much more agile I always hunted from a stand. Didn't hunt them for about 20 years (a terrible golf addiction) when I got back into it the tree stand was too precarious for my...

Re: Cleaning Products
Butches Bore Shine / alcohol / Breakfree CLP for the majority of the time.
I'll occasionally clean the bore with KG1, KG12, and polish with KG2 for a super duper cleaning.

Re: Savage Rifles
Little late getting back, sorry. I don't reload (I could just hear my wife if I started to, LOL) so my choices are limited to store bought ammo. Since my first post I ran some PMC 55 grain through it...

Re: 2o4 ruger
Excellent round for groundhogs and coyote. It's what I consider one of the inherently accurate rounds. My .223 might be feeling a little unloved since the arrival of the .204 Ruger, LOL. Shoots flat...

Re: Obsession with deer Rifles
Good to see you aren't going overboard. Some of us aren't nearly as restrained, your wife has it good compared to mine. LOL I'd need to get a freezer obsession if all my deer rifles got utilized.

I don't care to track deer very far and on one property I hunt the neighbor won't allow retrieval so it's imperative that I put them down on the spot. Killed four last year the two next to...
