Re: RCBS vs Dillon CM500 Case Media Separator
These are products that don't require much rocket science to operate correctly, and one is no better than the other. I use the Dillon unit and have only found powder on the bottom of the tray. It...

Re: Shell Holders
There isn't a whole lot that can go wrong with a shell holder. I don't know that any are better than others. Don't overanalyze a non-existant problem.

I watched that interview as long as I could. It appeared to occur to allow the new poster child for gun control to spread his message.

Re: M-1 Carbine 115 gr LRN H110 Load
I am not going to say that JLA is wrong as he is much more experienced in this area than am I. What I will say is that I know people who shoot lead thru their Carbines w/o a problem. Flatbase bullets...

Re: Where do you sit when using the Dillon 550B?
I read somewhere that the rule-of-thumb is to have the bench just tall enough to rest your forearms on the top when you are standing up in the position you will use the press. Can anyone confirm that?

Re: Left Grows Impatient on Gun Ban
They don't want the Newtown report to get released before any anti-gun legislation is passed. It would ruin their parade if the public found out that no "assault weapons" were used.

Re: M-1 Carbine 115 gr LRN H110 Load
H110 is the default powder to use with the M1 Carbine round. To duplicate the military load with a 110gr. bullet, use 14gr. If using a 115gr bullet, cut the load back to 13.5 grains. Don't forget to...

Re: Those "No Gun" Signs
My insurance agent had one on his front door. I, along with others, bitched about it, explaining why it was not a good idea. The sign came down.

I just watched the episode and didn't hear him say this. I DID hear him suggest that we might not have any legitimate use for "assault weapons", a term whose definition he makes up as he goes along....

Re: Dillon powder drop die question??
This has been cussed and discussed ad nauseum on all the boards. Suffice to say, some powders (e.g. Bullseye) react negatively with plastic reservoirs.

Re: Dillon powder drop die question??
It could be that the measure is not tightened down and is moving up slightly when the press is cycled. I have done that more than once after removing and replacing a measure.
