I have one and it is by far the most accurate well made pistol I own. It is the first 1911 I have had anything to do with since the Navy and man have they come a long way in the last (AHEM.....) few...

Why did I wait so long?

Yesterday I bought my first 1911. Today I shot my Sig 1911 Scorpion with a 5 inch barrel. Now the big question is why in the heck did I wait so long. Man this thing is SWEET. I love Glock,...

Re: legal to hunt with?

I have to disagree with Dog on this one. You must not do any bow hunting cause a good sharp broadhead can deal death very quickly and not make much noise. It makes a heck of a hole also.

Re: Best rifle for Long and Short ranges

Again if you want an AR check the DPMS 308L. I like the brand cause it has not failed me yet. It does come in 6/5 Creedmore, but you don't pick up the ammo at mom and pop's corner store.

I shot a Ruger Super Red Hawk in 454 today for the first time and it was not only accurate, but waaaaay less recoil than I get from my S&W 44mag.. I would and may very well but a Ruger.
