O.K. So I am considering a browning a-bolt eclipse 1000 in stanless either a .308 or .300wsm.Browning says the barrel is "heavy". My dealers around here dont wanna bring in a gun (1000 bucks or so)...

Yeah I hear ya a model 94 is a good bush gun though. As for cal. I think a .308 will do (7mm-08 is a good round I just prefer the ole 308)...... if you want even less recoil a .243 win is the ticket...
