my interest in firearms is almost exclusively home and self defense
so this won't be used for hunting but I like the stainless Marlin model 1894 .44 Magnum lever action and the Ithaca model 37...

I ask questions to get people to discuss firearms. I already have my own opinions. I wouldn't use slugs. Birdshot at home defense ranges is all I would feel I need. If you can't make heads or tails...
