my nephew has a 1911 colt seril # 37xx , also has checkered wood grips and is maybe 60 % possibly 70 % . barrel is pretty shot out. would like to know a date of manufacturean pall bark on the value....

i didnt get to see the gun but the feller said it was made in 1894 according to the serial number and that it had an octagon barrel . but did say if the magazine went all the way out to the end of...

had a guy ask me if i was interested in a model 94 he claims it was made in 1894 an the stock had been replaced and the upper tang had been broken an welded back . didnt say if the broken tang had...

i took the left grip off an there is no serial number, the only number i have found is on the bottom of the grip frame. i did fail to mention that it does have...

first let me say that i bought a 32 cal. nickel plated iver johnson. the nickel is good except for the edge of the barrel on the right side , it locks up tight and no rattle or play in the cyclinder...
