Re: Hornady Lock and Load. Anyone use it?

I have a lock N load AP and love it. Although it took some time to get it set up and running flawless (priming issues mostly). However I don't use a case feeder so i can't help you there. I know many...

Re: Problem loading berrys 45acp

Thanks for the suggestion. I made up some more dummy rounds in .005 increments. Finally found the sweet spot seated at 1.215 Seems like a short number after loading ball ammo all the time but I...

Problem loading berrys 45acp

Having an odd problem when I'm loading 200gr berrys bullets, I load them like normal, seating to 1.230 and crimping separate. But when I chamber a dummy round it sticks in the chamber, I have to pull...

Re: Resizing / Decapping. Questions

Sounds like you are using too much lube on your cases. Too much lube can result in dented cases.

Re: Lee trimmer....JUNK!!

Very nice setup. I don't have a drill press so that's out for me, but I really like your cordless drill and RCBS set up. I think that may be the way I go.

Re: Lee trimmer....JUNK!!

I've got the drill on the lowest setting and I'm pressing the trigger just enough to barely get it spinning. Yet somehow the cases still slip out of the lock stud. It's been very aggravating. I know...

Lee trimmer....JUNK!!

To keep a long rant as short as possible, I hate the Lee hand trimmer. I've had nothing but problems with this thing. I bought it about 6 months ago to get started, .223 is the main rifle caliber I...

Re: What does your reloading bench look like

I love mine so far. I've had it for about 6 months now. Had a few hiccups in the beginning...esp with the priming system. I did break a small primer shuttle, and an indexing pawl the first 2 weeks i...

Re: Need .223 HELP!!

Thanks for the info. All cases are trimmed to 1.750 (+/- .002). The sizing die is a full length size for the ar. I screwed the sizing die in the press another 1/4 turn and it chambered and extracted...

Re: Need .223 HELP!!

All cases fit nicely in the Wilson case gauge. But I think you guys are right. I'm going to play with the resizing die and see if it gets any better

Re: Need .223 HELP!!

Thank you! I was certain it was a user error on my part. No way I had 2 rifles with messed up chambers. I will try turning the due in some more and see if that helps. Thanks

Re: Need .223 HELP!!

Could possibly be rifling marks. I am roll crimping. But I have also tried it with no crimp. All brass is trimmed to 1.750. Using pulled 55fmj bullets and manual recommends 2.200. I've tried putting...
