It takes the .429/.430 lead bullet very nicely, actually matching that of a .44 Special. The "modern" factory cartridge uses this configuration and since it is a modern steel factory conversion...

Thanks. I have a Remington '58, it is ok. I shoot a .454 ball with 25 gr. of Goex but I might cut that back some to see if that helps my accuracy. The Navy is more consistant in the black at 50ft....

Got my new hand spring, put the Navy back together (actually supprised myself that I remembered how after two weeks), fired at the range this morning. Works like a charm. Thanks again to everyone...
