Re: If You Are Buying Overpriced Ammo...

I have purchased some ammo (.223/.556) since I am waiting to gather up everything needed to reload .223. I picked up 1k PMC Bronze for $399.99 on 12-15-12. Since then I have picked up about 200 rnds...

Looks good! Let us know how they shoot. I am thinking about loading 300WM, and 7mm RM for hunting. I currently only load .40, .45, .38, and .223/.556. I have been saving all my .300, and 7mm cases....

That's all I load my .40's with for IDPA. For me 180gr was not as snappy as 165gr.

My LGS had plenty of LRP, and about 10,000 LPP Saturday. No SPP, or SRP. He's gone up a bit from $28.95/k to 34.95/k.

This time last year I was buying primers for $28.00-$31.00 /k local. I picked up some LPP two weeks ago for $34.00/k, and found 2k SPP for $32.95 this past weekend. My LGS in town still has primers...

Re: 40S&W Pic and Question

Sounds like your loads should be ok in your XDm. I load 180gr Berry's RSFP at a COL of 1.130" +/- .001. Do your rounds pass the "Plunk" test in your chamber. If so you should be ok. These dents could...

I agree with all the above. I use Dillon dies which are extremly easy to clean. So that being said I clean my dies after every 1000 lead rounds loaded. I load and shoot nothing but lead in my 1911's.
