Re: Savage Model 20??
They were manufactured from 1920 through 1931. They are good little rifles. I own one chambered in .250-3000 Savage (.250 Savage).
Value for your rifle will vary between $900 and whatever ($0).

You might try searching for Maverick Model 88 accessories.
A piece of wooden dowel (cut to length) works very well as a magazine restrictor.

IF I recall correctly, which is not a sure thing, it is 50 fps per inch of barrel, out to a maximum length which depends upon the type of powder used.
