I think you will find a package from Kimber will fit your needs or wants.

I have heard that only KImber sights will fit their guns without modifing the sight slightly. Or a sight made just for Kimbers.

I returned my slide to Kimber to change out some dim night sights....

The KImber pro hd is all steel I believe. It has the 4" barrel as is very accurate. 2"-3" groups ay 25 yards. If you are shooting competion get the 5" target.

I have the KImber Compact and am really pleased with the gun. I have read on the forums that the 3" barrell guns can take some work. The 4" seam to work better without any tweaking.
