I have my powder measure bolted to a seperate board 3/4" ply. Clamp it to the bench when needed. Off the bench when doing trimming etc.. I have a small reloading bench.

I bolted my presses to a 3/4" ply wood square which I clamp to the bench with two clamps 90' apart. 3 clamps would be better. The board gives more surface area and no trouble here. My bench is small....

Best way to clean the lube off is to tumble the live ones !! Tarnished old rounds left in mags for months get tumbled in walnut w/nufinish,mineral spirits for few hours with no problems.
