Thanks for the info. I found a DPMS complete minus Lower for 539.00 it has all pins, stock barrel...etc at Brownells. Just looking around so far. With that it would still put the build under 700.00...

kero, gas or hot hot water and mild soap. Remove the wood grips and have at it. Then use break cleaner or carb cleaner. Then oil it.
Or just put on some gloves and shoot it til its hot and wipe it...

The end of the tube is crimped to hold the follower. As CJ said get some cleaner spray inside and let it dry. Over time little particles of lead can build up.

The trigger pull is about 18 lbs in double action mode, once fired it is real easy.
If you CC it you need that extra with adrenaline pumpin' if you need to use it.
Gonna make some slim grips...
