Re: Snakes! Snakes! Snakes!
I don't particularly like snakes. In fact, I have the same irrational fear as most people, but I certainly understand their role in the world. However, If I ever found a rattler in my (suburban) yard...

Re: Marlin 60 re-assembly-dang recoil spring!
It is a common problem with the 60 and the 795 if you're not careful. I've never bent one *knocks on wood* so I guess I've been lucky. You do have to bend the spring when reinstalling the bolt, but...

Re: My report on the Walther p-22
You obviously don't hang out in the Walther forum at RFC.;) I bought my P22 in 2007 and read up on it in the forum. I took 1917-1911M's recommendation to use RGBs to heart, and it's all I shoot....

THIS. Some people find the drop in comb on the Golden Boy to be excessive, others love it. Whichever one you choose, Henry will stand behind it 100%. Anthony Imperato, the owner, has set the customer...

Re: whats the best 22 automatic rifle?
:yeahthat: And really, all the guys giving a shout-out to centerfires are right. It's easy to wound a 'yote with a 22LR and have die an agonizing death if you're into that sort of thing. A .22 Mag...

Re: 22 rifle Semi-auto choices under 200.00
That right there is the key point.
M60 fanbois (that includes moi) are quick to point out that one generally has to throw a lot of bucks at a 10/22 to get it to shoot as well as a box-stock...

Re: It's been awhile "What 22LR ammo is best
.22s are notoriously picky about ammo. What runs fine in my 60 may be awful in yours, so it's best to try several different brands to see which your gun is happiest with. Mine likes CCI Blazers and...

Re: 22 rifle Semi-auto choices under 200.00
I have a Marlin Model 60, a 10/22, and just picked up a 795, haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. The M60 is more accurate than the 10/22. I expect the 795 will also be more accurate. Most shooters...

Re: 22mag vs. 22LR
The .22LR does NOT use the same bullet as the .22WMR. .22LR rounds are either lead with a coat of lubricant or copper washed. .22WMR bullets are copper jacketed. .22LR bullet is also heeled, meaning...

Yup, Fusion (http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion_for_plastic/). Wal Mart carries it. But a Marlin 60 has a wood stock.

Re: ruger single six mag cyl
This. 22LR has smaller diameter than 22WMR. It will go in, and it will fire, but you're asking for case failure.
