By the same token I never liked Schwarzenegger who was never a real Republican no matter what he calls himself. It isn't the party, I have voted Democ5rat in state elections because the woman was a better candidate than the old drunk who had been in office so long he had mushrooms growing on him. It's always been about the man. Romney is a good man but not the man we need in the oval office and the present resident of the oval office may need to be deported, I don't know this but strongly suspect it. There are good people you little 'r' republican compromiser's are leaving in the dust along side the campaign trail and that is really sad.
Thanks for the history lesson, but none of that matters now. RP is out, RINO Romney is in and this is what we have to work with.
Romney may be nothing more than a finger in the Dike, but at least its a finger. Obama is ready with a bulldozer to destroy the Dike.
Sit on your hands, refuse to hold your nose and vote for Romney or waste your vote with a write in R Paul,it's all the same, a vote for Obama. This may make you feel better, but it sure as hell will not help this country.
Romney is a temporary fix to be sure, but with Obama at the helm any fix is better than none.
